At its core, the service is a simple and completely standalone booking service where the idea is that residents book and keep track of their booked times using their mobile phone, tablet, or computer. No equipment or installation is needed. All you need is a web browser, but there are also apps for both iOS and Android for those who find this more convenient.

Lock on the door?
If you want to connect bookings in the calendar to a digital lock, we can help with that too. We have a partnership with Parakey, a Swedish supplier of digital keys. Parakey's installers install a box connected to a regular digital lock on the laundry room, then you control the keys by booking times in the calendar here on Boka en tid. The result is that only the person who booked the time can unlock the laundry room door with their digital key and voilà, you have a complete solution with calendar, lock, and digital keys on your mobile.
Who is it for?
The service is primarily developed for housing associations and property owners who are looking for a simple and smooth solution for the laundry room. However, we also have other types of customers, both companies and associations, who need a simple and affordable booking service.
How does it work for you who administer the service?
As the owner of an account with us, you can easily add the available booking times and invite the other members, the only thing needed is their email address. If you prefer accounts without email addresses, that is also possible. You who are responsible for the laundry room can then manage the following via our web-based system:
- which days are bookable
- which times should be bookable
- how many laundry slots each tenant can book at once
- whether queuing should be possible or not
- whether an ongoing laundry time should be cancellable or not
One or more days can also be locked in the system, so that those tenants who wish to book with the classic key card or a calendar on site can continue with that on the selected days.
How does it work for everyone who needs to book times?
You get your own address to your calendar. If your housing association is called Blue Whale, it could be brfbluewhale.bokaentid.se, but you choose that when you register. Residents then only need to log in with their email address and password to be able to book, reschedule, and view the calendar. The service works just as well on the computer as on a tablet or mobile phone, so residents can easily log in and keep track of their times regardless of where they are.
There are also apps for iOS and apps for Android for those who also want to use our reminders and find an app to be an even more convenient solution.
Who is behind the service?
The service was developed in 2014 and has been maintained since 2015 by Flyttfågel AB. Flyttfågel is a wholly owned subsidiary of the design and technology agency Republic in Gothenburg.
How much does it cost?
Trying the system is completely free. When you choose to continue, we have a pricing model based on the number of users starting at 99 SEK/month.
